Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Hickory, NC, is seeking a warehouse order selector to pick cases from multi-level racks and prepare orders for shipment. You will use a pallet jack, manage loading onto pallets, and maintain safety throughout the shift.

The role pays $21.66 per hour with a $0.25 differential after 7 PM, and requires standing, lifting, and operating in a multi-temperature environment. Benefits start Day 1, with 401(k) matching and education assistance, among others.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull product weighing up to 60-100 lbs depending on location
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer)
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period
• Ability to complete required training independently

Responsibilities

• Select cases and other containers of food and non-foods products to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along assigned multi-level racks to locate products according to order sheets
• Transport completed palletized customer orders to shipping dock staging area and prepare for shipment
