Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills (adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing).
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the planning and assignment of work to achieve efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Maintains inventory and helps establish inventory levels based on prior usage and future demand.
• Receives incoming shipments and enters information into tracking system for disbursement.
• Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality and rejects items as needed.
• Supervises the warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep.
• Assists in ordering from site vendors and may contact vendors directly.
• Develops and recommends improvements in warehouse practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provides training for warehouse employees and assists in selecting staff.
• Uncrates shipments and disposes of or stores containers and packaging as appropriate.
