Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be flexible and able to adjust to variable work demands.
• Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and assignment of work to maximize efficiency of personnel and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and set levels based on usage and demand.
• Receive shipments and enter tracking information for disbursement.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality; reject unsuitable items.
• Supervise warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep.
• Assist in ordering from site vendors and communicate needs to management.
• Suggest improvements to warehouse practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide training to warehouse staff as needed.
• Uncrate shipments and manage containers and packaging accordingly.
