Job summary

Aramark Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to guide warehouse activities, ensure accurate storage and distribution of materials, and maintain a safe environment by enforcing safety programs. The role emphasizes efficient planning, inventory control, receiving shipments, and supervising staff to uphold security and service quality.

The position reports to warehouse leadership and requires experience in shipping/receiving supervision, strong math and communication skills, and a valid

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role
• Basic mathematical skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
• Must be flexible and able to adjust to variable work demands

Responsibilities

• Coordinates planning and assignment of work for efficient use of personnel and equipment
• Maintains inventory and helps establish inventory levels based on prior usage and future demand
• Receives incoming shipments and enters information into tracking system for disbursement
• Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality and rejects undesired items
• Supervises the warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep
• Assists in ordering from site vendors by advising management and contacting vendors
• Develops and recommends improvements in warehouse practices for efficiency and cost reduction
• Provides training of warehouse employees and may assist with selection of such employees
• Uncrates shipments and properly disposes of or stores containers and packaging
