This role is accountable for setting the direction and strategy for the assigned team. It involves assessing daily process flows with the goal of implementing improvements to increase efficiency, enhance customer experience, and meet Supply Chain "On Time and In Full" (OTIF) KPIs. The role requires collaboration and alignment with the manager on team process improvements to ensure objectives, timelines, and requirements are achieved, including compliance with local, regional, and global regulations, finance, tax, safety, environmental, transportation, Customs, and internal standards. The role also involves leading employees, overseeing daily operations and long-term goals, providing performance feedback, managing budgets, training staff, resource management, and ensuring organizational policies are consistently applied. Maintaining and improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions is also essential. Demonstrating strong customer-focused skills and overseeing multiple shifts, warehouses, or team leads may be part of the responsibilities. The role includes hiring and onboarding new employees.
Participate in project teams as both subject matter expert and operational representative.
Learn the functional work of those supervised to assist when needed to complete daily business.
Work with the manager and stakeholders to understand and meet requirements, goals, and results.
Develop KPIs and monitoring methods to ensure optimal team performance.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science, Technology, Supply Chain, or related field, or 4 years of related experience with ongoing education.
2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
Proven leadership skills in project management and process improvement.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Google Office Suite and analytical tools.
Experience with SAP SD.
Cultural awareness and ability to work in multicultural, multifunctional teams.
Customer service orientation in a complex, global, and regulatory environment.
Strategic, long-term, lean, and innovative thinking skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (<5%).

The expected salary range based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN, is $66,400 - $123,220. Actual pay depends on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors. A discretionary annual bonus may be available. Benefits are detailed at the link below.
