This role is accountable for setting the direction and strategy for the assigned team. It involves assessing daily process flows to implement improvements that increase efficiency, enhance customer experience, and meet the Supply Chain “On Time and In Full” (OTIF) KPIs. The role requires collaboration with the manager to align on process improvements to achieve objectives, timelines, and all regulatory, financial, safety, environmental, transportation, customs, and internal standards. The role also includes leading employees, overseeing daily operations and long-term goals, providing performance feedback, managing budgets, training staff, resource management, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies. Maintaining and improving the quality system to meet quality objectives is also essential. The role demands strong customer-focused skills and may involve responsibilities across multiple shifts, warehouses, or team leads. Hiring and onboarding new employees are also key responsibilities.
Participate in project teams as a subject matter expert and operational representative.
Learn the functions of those supervised to assist when needed in daily operations.
Work with the manager and stakeholders to understand and meet requirements and goals.
Develop KPIs and monitoring methods to optimize team performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science, Technology, Supply Chain, or related field, or 4 years of related experience and in the process of obtaining a degree.
2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
Proven leadership skills in project management and process improvement.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Google Office Suite and analytical tools.
Experience with SAP SD.
Strong cultural awareness and ability to work in multicultural and multifunctional teams.
Customer service orientation, supporting customers in a complex regulatory environment.
Strategic, long-term, lean, and innovative thinking skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (<5%).

The expected salary range based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN, is $66,400 - $123,220. Actual pay depends on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors.
