The Position

This role is accountable for setting the direction and strategy for the assigned team. It involves assessing daily process flows with the goal of implementing improvements to increase efficiency, enhance customer experience, and meet the Supply Chain "On Time and In Full" (OTIF) KPIs. The role requires collaboration and alignment with the manager on team process improvements to ensure objectives, timelines, and all requirements are achieved, including local, regional, and global regulations, finance, tax, safety, environmental, transportation, Customs, and internal standards. The position also involves leading employees, overseeing daily operations and long-term goals, providing performance feedback, managing budgets, training staff, resource management, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Maintaining and improving quality systems and achieving quality objectives through daily actions are also key responsibilities. Demonstrating strong customer-focused skills and managing responsibilities across multiple shifts, warehouses, and team leads, including hiring and onboarding of new employees, are essential components of this role.

The Opportunity
  • Participate in project teams as both subject matter expert and operational representative.

  • Learn the functional work of those supervised to be able to step in and assist when needed.

  • Work with the manager and stakeholders to understand and meet requirements, goals, and expected results.

  • Develop KPIs and monitoring methods to ensure optimal team performance.

  • Schedule: 13:30 - 22:00

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science, Technology, Supply Chain, or related field, or 4 years of related experience and in the process of obtaining a degree.

  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.

  • Proven leadership skills, project management, and process improvement experience.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with Google Office Suite and analytical tools.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with SAP SD.

  • Ability to work in multi-cultural and multi-functional teams.

  • Customer service orientation in a complex regulatory environment.

  • Strategic, lean, and innovative thinking skills.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (<5%).

Relocation benefits are not available for this posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on Indianapolis, IN, is $66,400 - $123,220. Actual pay depends on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors. A discretionary bonus may be available. Benefits are detailed at the link below.
