Job summary

NFM is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor II in Texas to coordinate staff for ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, displaying and shipping. You will oversee supplies, tools, equipment and parts in the warehouse and on the sales floor.

The role requires 1 year of supervisory or management experience and 2 years of warehouse experience, with flexibility for night/weekend shifts. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point and Access is preferred.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
1 year supervisory or management experience.
2 years’ warehouse experience.
Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record preferred.
PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access preferred.
Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Monitor: Understand workload priorities and direct movement of all products to meet customer needs
Manage: Coach, train, hire and support staff. Provide regular feedback and recognition. Hold staff accountable for fulfilling their key responsibilities and goals satisfactorily
Plan: Develop agendas, conduct monthly staff meetings, control expenses/turnover and meet goals
Punctuality: Apply the attendance policy to scheduled training events just as it is applied to regular work schedules
Safety: Ensure machines/equipment are properly utilized and immediately correct inappropriate operating behaviors
Teamwork: Perform duties of supervised staff to assist in meeting deadlines and/or to fill in when short staffed
