Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart in The Colony, TX is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor II for the 2nd shift (12:30–9:30 pm) with weekend availability. You will coordinate with staff to manage ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, displaying and shipping.

You will lead hourly staff, drive safety and efficiency, plan meetings, control costs, and meet performance goals while supporting customers and operations. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year supervisory or management experience.
• 2 years warehouse experience.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record preferred.
• PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access preferred.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workload priorities and direct movement of all products to meet customer needs.
• Coach, train, hire and support staff; provide regular feedback and recognition; hold staff accountable.
• Develop agendas, conduct monthly staff meetings, control expenses and turnover, meet goals.
• Ensure attendance policy is applied to training and regular schedules.
• Ensure machines and equipment are properly utilized and safety compliant.
• Perform duties of supervised staff to meet deadlines and cover shortages.
