Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee the timely receipt, stocking, order filling, and shipment processes. You may supervise teams handling rolling stock or automated equipment and coordinate with HR on staffing and training.

The role emphasizes ensuring accurate labor planning, adherence to SOPs, and maintaining employee records while supporting safety initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• Understanding of inventory accounting.
• Knowledge of inbound or outbound functions within a distribution center.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Communication and one-to-one conflict resolution skills.
• Good interviewing and personnel communication abilities.
• Experience with warehouse systems and payroll systems such as KRONOS.

Responsibilities

• Reviews WMS reports and notifies WMS personnel of shutdowns or failures.
• Follows SOPs to resolve problems and communicates issues to the Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Plans daily production goals and staffing with the Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Maintains employee records daily and supports safety programs.
• Interviews and selects candidates for employment with HR.
• Conducts weekly and monthly staffing reviews and monitors new employee development.
