Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. in Albertville, MN is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor I to lead daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient deliveries. You will oversee safety, equipment, and driver records while applying SAP to keep orders accurate and on time.

The role requires supervisory experience, a valid CDL-eligible license, and strong English communication skills. The position emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2-year business/trade degree or the equivalent in work experience.
• Prior supervisory experience with a minimum of 3 years of prior warehouse distribution and/or city desk experience preferred.
• Required experience to coach drivers in ride along or drive cam vehicle handling opportunities.
• Good knowledge of electrical products or systems preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
• Prior experience operating a forklift is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English required.
• Strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), internet, email and SAP software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and builds customer service through teamwork with Account Managers, CSR’s, City Desk, and will Call personnel.
• Coordinates SAP transactions and safety for best operations practices.
• Maintains security and maintenance of building and grounds per standards.
• Ensures safe operations of all warehouse equipment and vehicles.
• Leads inventory process and communicates with customers on orders.
• Leads daily safety meetings and updates; addresses concerns.
