Job summary

Border States is a growing employee-owned company with locations nationwide. The Warehouse Associate role is based in Curtis Bay, MD, supporting warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and order fulfillment.

The position involves coordinating with internal teams and carriers, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safe, efficient shipping and handling. The role requires basic forklift operation, warehousing experience, and familiarity with SAP and Windows-based systems.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems is preferred.
• PC working knowledge for Windows, internet, email and SAP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks material for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders and backorders as material is received.
• Coordinates with departments, carriers, or vendors on discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Maintains inventory stock locations and keeps shelves neat and orderly.
• Fills orders for delivery to customers.
