Job summary

Border States in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations. You will receive freight, check for damages, distribute to stock locations, and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring stock accuracy and safe handling.

You will coordinate with departments and carriers, track stock discrepancies, and maintain neat, organized shelves. This role requires attention to safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Forklift experience and knowledge of electrical products/systems preferred.
• If driving, must be at least 21 with a valid driver’s license; medical certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight, checks for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders/backorders as material is received.
• Follows up with departments, carriers, or vendors on discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Checks and packs material for delivery.
• Maintains inventory locations and keeps shelves neat and orderly.
• Fills orders for delivery to customers.
