Placements24 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the distribution hub operations in California. The role requires overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing staff, and ensuring safety and productivity in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will ensure accurate receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping while maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a safety focus, and the ability to motivate a team to meet performance goals.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in supervision.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations at their distribution hub in Welkom . This role requires a strong leader capable of overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing a team of warehouse staff, and ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient processing of inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving productivity. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced logistics and warehousing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing inventory, including receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping.
• Maintain a safe and secure working environment by enforcing all safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and stocktaking to ensure accuracy.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to the warehouse team.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of warehouse personnel.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic inventory control principles.
