Job summary

Hunter Hamilton is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will develop team members, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and partner with drivers and internal teams to maintain efficient operations. A hands-on leader with strong communication skills is ideal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant warehouse leadership experience; 5 years preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or operations leadership.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety, inventory management, resource planning, and team development.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel (basic to intermediate).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities and ensure goals and performance standards are met.
• Coach and develop warehouse staff, fostering a positive and accountable team.
• Enforce safety policies, housekeeping, and quality procedures.
• Plan work assignments and allocate resources to meet daily demands.
• Monitor productivity, inventory accuracy, and delivery performance; identify improvements.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for development.
• Collaborate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and payroll validation as needed.
• Promote teamwork, continuous improvement, and strong safety culture.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Flexibility to work varying hours when business needs require.
