Job summary

Bedrosians in South San Francisco is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to plan daily tasks for warehouse associates, ensure safety and efficiency, and drive process improvements. You will oversee shipping/receiving, inventory, and quality checks while coordinating with CSR and purchasing staff.

The role requires 5 years general warehouse experience with 1-2 years supervisory, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and strong English communication. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized, clean and safe warehouse environment.

• Efficiently pull, pack, strap, and stage orders.
• Check incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy.
• Load and/or unload OTR trailers.
• Plan and schedule daily work of the warehouse team.
• Supervise and lead staff to obtain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Inspect products for quality and process quality issue reports.
• Communicate issues to CSR and purchasing staff.
• Assist with inventory management and control.
• Learn product specifications including size, color, material, type.
• Inspect forklift and warehouse equipment daily and report issues to warehouse manager.
• Safely operate stand-up reach and sit-down forklift.
• Attend safety meetings and uphold safety protocol.
• Work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Follow company policies and directives.

Brief Summary:

The warehouse supervisor is responsible for planning the daily work of warehouse associates to ensure they are working safely and efficiently. Warehouse supervisors should be looking for ways to solve problems and improve processes. You are also tasted with checking emails, approving the quality of products, send quality issues reports, and communicating with staff.

Essential Functions:

1. Maintain organized, clean and safe warehouse environment

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 5 years of general warehouse experience
• 1-2 years of warehouse supervisory experience
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong math skills
