Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan is seeking a qualified candidate for a warehouse/operations role at our Providence center. The position focuses on enforcing safety policies, training staff on material handling equipment, and supervising the receiving, shipping, and prep processes to ensure accurate inventory and top-tier customer service.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, two years of operational management experience, and proficiency with warehouse software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least two years of college coursework completed.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Analytical, critical thinking and attention to detail are required.
• Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new programs.
• Two years of operational management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach, follow and audit Raymour & Flanigan's safety policies and procedures.
• Train associates on material handling equipment including order picker, electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift.
• Train associates in the use of warehouse management systems.
• Oversee the furniture receiving, shipping and preparation process to achieve perfect product in perfect sequence.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure unparalleled customer service.
• Motivate associates toward total customer satisfaction with professional behavior.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, lower, push, pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 100 lbs.
