Job description

Join to apply for the Warehouse Supervisor role at ABB Ventures.

This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising an assigned functional area within the operation, such as receiving, order fulfillment, or shipping activities. This role provides direct daily guidance to Team Leaders and hourly associates and acts as the area continuous improvement (lean) champion. The work location is Phoenix, AZ, contributing to Electrification Installation Products. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading problem solving and continuous improvement projects using lean tools and methodologies.
• Overseeing daily activities through assigned team leaders, ensuring schedules and procedures are followed.
• Meeting or exceeding all operational metrics; taking corrective actions when goals are not met.
• Training and coaching Team Leaders on their duties.
• Conducting performance appraisals and providing coaching and developmental opportunities to associates.
• Leading daily shift handoff meetings to ensure operational continuity.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor of Arts in Business or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of supervision experience in distribution or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS is preferred.
• Must have valid work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
