This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising an assigned functional area within the operation, related to receiving, order fulfillment, or shipping activities. You will provide direct daily guidance to Team Leaders and hourly associates and serve as the area’s continuous improvement (lean) champion.

The work model for this role contributes to the Electrification Installation Products in Phoenix, AZ. You will mainly be accountable for:

• Leading problem-solving and continuous improvement projects utilizing lean tools and methodologies.
• Completing all daily activities through assigned team leaders, ensuring execution according to schedule and procedures.
• Ensuring the area meets or exceeds all metrics, and taking corrective actions when goals are not met.
• Training and coaching Team Leaders to understand and execute their duties.
• Conducting timely and fair performance appraisals for hourly associates.
• Providing coaching, counseling, and developmental opportunities for associates.
• Conducting daily shift handoff meetings to ensure operational continuity.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor of Arts in Business or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of distribution or manufacturing supervision experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma problem-solving tools is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS is preferred.
• Must have valid work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
