Job summary

Kurz Industrial Solutions Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Wisconsin to lead daily warehouse operations, coordinate drivers, and optimize inventory management.

The role focuses on accurate packing, labeling, shipping, and returns, with leadership responsibilities for the warehouse and driving teams at the New Berlin location. You will drive process improvements, implement WMS, and partner with internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience required.
• A bachelor’s or associate degree in business administration is a plus.
• WMS software experience preferred.

• Previous supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping.

Role Mission

As the Warehouse Supervisor you will play an important role in our customer-focused strategy by managing the scheduling of shipments and deliveries to our customers precisely and in a timely manner. Ensuring the goods are packaged, labeled, and delivered in accordance with the customer's requests as well as assisting internal customers with return requests from customers and scheduling all repair pick-ups and returns. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and fresh inventory levels and constantly work to increase productivity with system and processing improvements for continued growth. This is a working supervisor role that will lead the Warehouse and Driving associate at this location. This elevated position would also need to support staffing needs in other locations as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse including receiving, storing, and preparing products for shipment.
• Improves warehouse operations by recruiting, selecting, training and coaching employees.
• Manage warehouse operations by stock control, inventory management and motivating employees.
• Develop warehouse operations systems by analyzing process workflow and implementing changes.
• Manage the drivers and their workload and ensure full coverage where necessary.
• Manage GPS tracking software, review delivery routes and revise routes as necessary for efficiency gains while maintaining high level customer service.
• Solve packaging challenges by developing, training, and documenting packaging instructions for bulk received items.
• Work with Internal team members to resolve any shipping or receiving issues in a timely manner.
• Process all outbound shipping documents.
• Manage all inventory locations accurately with receipts, returns, bin transfers and a consistent cycle count program.
• Develop processes for performance improvement for Warehouse associates and delivery drivers.
• Regularly appraise team members and carry out performance reviews.
• Implement and maintain a WMS (Warehouse Management System)

Competencies

• A bachelor's degree or associate degree in business administration is a plus.
• 3-5 years of warehouse or distribution experience required.
• WMS software experience preferred.
• Excellent data entry and data processing skills.
• Skilled in analyzing information and problem solving.
