Job summary

Kurz Industrial Solutions Inc. is seeking a Warehouse and Deliver Associate in Wisconsin. You will be the face of Kurz when delivering and picking up products, ensuring items are identified and packaged correctly, and safely loading and unloading trucks for the organization.

Responsibilities include picking/packing, processing receipts, maintaining a clean warehouse, and driving company vehicles to customer sites. A high school diploma and valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience and safe loading/unloading practices are required.
• Warehouse experience including picking/packing and receipts is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists with warehouse duties including picking/packing outbound orders and processing receipts.
• Maintains a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Participates in special projects (cycle counting, vendor receipts).
• Loads delivery vehicles and secures items for transport.
• Drives company vehicles to customer locations and completes delivery paperwork in Netsuite.
• Inspects and maintains delivery vehicles for safe operation; adheres to cab cleanliness rules.

Role Mission

As the Warehouse and Deliver Associate, you will play a significant role in our customer focused strategy by being the face of Kurz when delivering and picking up of product from our customers, ensuring order items are accurately identified and packaged from within our warehouses and safely loading and unloading trucks for the organization.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Assists with all warehouse duties, including (but not limited to) picking and packing outbound orders, processing incoming receipts, and other duties as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Assists with the warehouse housekeeping, ensuring it is clean, orderly and provides a safe work environment.
• Assists with special projects (cycle counting, vendor receipts, etc.).
• Loads delivery vehicles, ensuring all items and materials are properly secured.
• Drives company vehicles to efficiently transport orders and items to and from customer locations.
• Complete and process delivery paperwork for customer deliveries and pick-ups within the Netsuite software.
• Maintains and inspects delivery vehicle to ensure they operate in a safe manner. Including but not limited to:
  • Daily removal of any trash/paperwork from interior cab.
  • Week internal cleaning of cab with cleaner (seats, dash, steering wheel, console, vacuum, etc.)
  • Washing vehicle as needed.
  • Completing daily vehicle inspection sheets.
  • Note: No open motors, parts, etc. should be place in the cab for safety and cleanliness reasons. These items are to be put on skids and transported on the bed of the tuck and strapped accordingly.

Competencies

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid and clean driver's license required.
• Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills needed.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
