Job summary

Growscape in Middlefield, OH seeks a hands-on Operations Leader to direct daily shift activities across departments, ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets are met. You will train staff, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with company policies.

The role emphasizes leadership, manufacturing/warehouse processes, and strong communication, with 1st shift training followed by Friday–Sunday schedules. Familiarity with ERP and RF scanners is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years cumulative experience in a Warehouse/Distribution environment.
• Minimum of 12 months experience in a leadership role.
• Prior forklift experience required.
• 3rd party software exposure preferred with payroll/timekeeping and ERP.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in RF Scanners & Warehouse Management Computer Software.
• Prior experience with FedEx & UPS Systems.

We're growing and looking for individuals who want to grow with us. This position will train on 1st shift. Once trained, will then work Friday through Sunday, 6:30 am - 7:00 pm.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide hands‑on leadership in directing daily operations within assigned departments, ensuring alignment with Growscape's safety, quality, and performance standards. The role supports team development through training, coaching, and process improvement, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. This position plays a key role in achieving operational goals by fostering a safe work culture, completing administrative tasks, and driving continuous improvement across key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Individual must be a hands‑on leader with strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn distribution processes as it relates to operations and our company procedures
• Must possess process troubleshooting skills to respond to and drive performance/people development
