Job summary

Growscape is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee finished goods movement from production to the distribution center, ensuring inventory integrity and safety. You will lead a team, coordinate with production and distribution, and optimize shipments to meet schedules.

The role requires strong communication, hands-on leadership, and the ability to train staff on forklift operations and processes, while supporting continuous improvement and policy compliance.

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transfer of finished goods from production lines to staging and storage areas.
• Plan and execute shipments of completed products to the distribution center based on production schedules.
• Supervise minor inventory discrepancies and drive root-cause corrections.
• Lead training for new employees relating to production, operation, forklift, and other needs.
• Accurately track and enter production data into the Work Order system; verify induction reports.
• Support safety, quality, delivery and cost goals; perform additional duties as needed.

This role bridges production operations and distribution logistics, ensuring timely and accurate transfer of completed products while maintaining inventory integrity, safety standards, and operational efficiency.
