Job Details

Shift: Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm, Overtime may be required

Primary Responsibilities

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the hiring, termination, direction, and performance of associates. They manage functional areas such as receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, and management of the cage/vault. They ensure safety guidelines are followed and oversee verification and record-keeping of outgoing shipments, including controlled substances, possibly using RF devices.

  1. Supervision and Leadership: Direct workflow, motivate, train, and monitor warehouse associates.
  2. Process Improvement: Monitor work processes, suggest modifications for productivity, efficiency, and accuracy, and implement necessary changes.
  3. Compliance: Support adherence to policies, procedures, safety rules, and DEA regulations.
  4. Employee Development: Coach employees for role development.
  5. Operational Oversight: Supervise receipt of merchandise, oversee shipping and order filling, maintain records, ensure timely delivery, and manage customer interactions regarding delivery or order issues.
  6. Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records of incoming/outgoing controlled substances, order details, and shipping information.
  7. Quality Control: Oversee packing quality and ensure merchandise arrives in satisfactory condition.
  8. Staff Management: Track attendance, monitor performance, and manage overtime for associates.
  9. Additional Duties: Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, accounting, sales, marketing, or computer sciences.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related, progressively responsible experience.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Effective communication, decision-making, basic math, analytical skills, leadership, interpersonal skills, warehouse operations knowledge, organizational skills, computer proficiency (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel), ability to foster teamwork, operate reach truck if proficient, and willingness to work extended hours and participate in physical inventories.
