POSITION SUMMARY:The Warehouse Supervisor leads site shipping and warehouse operations to ensure safe, accurate, and on-time shipment of finished goods and receipt of materials. This role manages daily staffing, workflow, and carrier coordination while driving performance through standard work, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement. The Warehouse Supervisor partners with Production and Customer Service to align priorities, resolve constraints, and protect customer delivery commitments.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Manage daily shipping and receiving operations (staffing, task assignment, dock scheduling, staging, and dispatch) to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.Lead and develop shipping/warehouse employees through coaching, training, performance feedback, and enforcement of standards and work rules.Coordinate carrier pickups, LTL/parcel execution, and freight documentation (BOLs, packing lists, labels); ensure customer and compliance requirements are met.Maintain inventory accuracy for finished goods and shipping supplies; ensure accurate transactions, counts, and traceability as applicable.Establish and sustain standard work, 5S, and visual management; track KPIs (on-time shipment, damage, claims, labor, and dock throughput) and drive countermeasures.Investigate and resolve shipment errors, damage, shortages, and claims; implement corrective/preventive actions with cross-functional partners.Coordinate material movement and staging with Production to support flow and reduce handling and WIP.Support continuous improvement and system enhancements (shipping systems, scanning/labeling, packaging standards) and provide input for equipment needs.This position is a working supervisor position. It is expected that you are working-fulfilling orders, doing inventory, cleaning etcQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.5+ years of experience in shipping/warehouse/logistics operations with 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver measurable improvements in safety, delivery, and cost.Experience with carrier coordination, freight documentation, packaging standards, and claims management.Lean/continuous improvement mindset; familiarity with structured problem solving (5-Why, A3/8D) preferred.Strong communication and customer focus; able to coordinate effectively with Production, Customer Service, and carriers.Proficiency with shipping/WMS tools and basic computer skillsAbility to lift up to 75 pounds and bend repeatedly throughout an 8-hour work shift
