Job Details

Shift: Sunday 2pm - complete, Monday-Thursday 4pm - complete

This role supports our AmerisourceBergen business, providing supply chain services to healthcare providers and health systems in the U.S.

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees hiring, termination, direction, and performance of associates. Responsibilities include managing warehouse functions such as receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, and managing controlled substances. Ensuring safety guidelines are followed is also key.

• Directs workflow, motivates, trains, and monitors warehouse associates.

• Monitors work processes and suggests improvements for productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.

• Supports compliance with policies, safety rules, and DEA regulations.

• Coaches employees to support their development.

Depending on the area, responsibilities include:

• Supervising merchandise receipt and ensuring accurate logs.

• Overseeing staff in counting, weighing, and verifying shipped items.

• Managing order filling and shipping, including controlled substances.

• Maintaining records of delivery, order filling, and shipment details.

• Monitoring route manifests and delivery timeliness.

• Interacting with customers to resolve delivery or order issues.

• Ensuring proper packing and record-keeping for controlled substances.

• Managing associates' attendance, performance, and overtime.

• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, accounting, sales, marketing, or related fields.

Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related, responsible experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Effective communication, decision-making, basic math, analytical skills, leadership, interpersonal skills, warehouse operations knowledge, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and ability to foster teamwork. Proficiency with reach trucks may be required. Willingness to work extended hours and participate in physical inventories.
