What You'll Be Doing

Supervise, train, schedule, and coordinate activities for Warehouse Technicians, Cleanroom Technicians, and Inventory Shipping Specialists as applicable for this warehouse. Coordinate with the Operations manager to ensure timely and accurate shipments and proper placement of all incoming products.

Scope and Responsibilities

You will need to:

• Serve as a work team leader, filling in during absences and as needed
• Ensure team performance, safety, accuracy, and timeliness of tasks
• Be proficient in the jobs supervised and serve as a trainer; ensure regulatory and safety training is current
• Own and improve supervised processes, ensuring proper documentation and adherence
• Manage daily workload, employee schedules, and labor costs; approve vacation requests
• Report non-conformance and near misses; investigate and collaborate on solutions
• Address safety, quality, and personnel issues, escalating when necessary
• Coach and counsel employees; conduct performance reviews and recommend disciplinary actions
• Maintain warehouse standards for safety and presentation
• Lead safety, quality, and team meetings; participate in committees
• Record defects and lead defect elimination efforts

Qualifications

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but equivalent experience considered
• Proficiency in all jobs supervised

Communication Skills:

• Ability to interpret safety rules, procedures, and manuals
• Effective report writing and verbal communication
• Ability to relate well with all employee levels and build relationships

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to obtain Rinchem Supervisor Certification and other required certifications

Regulatory Knowledge:

• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements for warehouse compliance
