The Hawesville, Kentucky, location is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor

Position Description: We are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor with strong communication skills and familiarity with shipping to join our team. Reporting to the Logistics Superintendent, this salaried exempt role supports all outbound truck and rail shipments of paper, and involves process improvements and projects to reduce transportation and inventory costs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Proactive safety leadership and adherence to Domtar safety principles.
2. Supporting the goals of the Fine Paper Mill department.
3. Promoting open communication and workforce engagement.
4. Representing Domtar with honesty and integrity, including safety and PPE compliance.
5. Assigning, reviewing, and planning work for crews and maintenance.
6. Resolving union disputes and grievances at the first level.
7. Managing performance, conducting evaluations, and fostering a positive culture.
8. Developing and managing team training, including new employee orientation.
9. Supporting safety audits and inventory processes.
10. Back-up support for the Senior Production Analyst.
11. Monitoring pulp inventory levels and overseeing maintenance issues.
12. Executing shipments, coordinating loaders, managing schedules, and handling disciplinary actions.
13. Serving as the point of contact between shipping and operations.
14. Executing cycle counts and maintaining related reports.
15. Managing work orders, contractor oversight, and safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years in Logistics/Transportation, or 2+ years in a paper manufacturing setting without degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Process Safety Management preferred.
• Physical ability to climb, lift, wear PPE, and work in industrial environments.
• Ability to work independently in a 24/7 operation.
• Proficiency in scheduling and payroll software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Logistics or related field with 3+ years’ experience.
• SAP and business analytics experience.
• Familiarity with load management systems like TMS and shipping via CSX.
