Purpose

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the warehouse operations of each retail store. This includes supervising warehouse staff, supporting the Receiving Supervisor, and managing daily freight schedules based on customer and inventory needs.

Major Responsibilities
  1. Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure efficient shipping and receiving.
  2. Oversee daily warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
  3. Manage warehouse storage transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
  4. Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
  5. Implement and oversee warehouse safety programs compliant with OSHA and other regulations.
  6. Train associates and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  7. Handle disciplinary actions and foster a productive work environment.
  8. Address employee inquiries and resolve issues.
  9. Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations.
  10. Complete activity reports for management.
  11. Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
  12. Resolve shipping, invoice, and report discrepancies.
  13. Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP.
  14. Ensure proper staging and storage of products to optimize space and safety.
  15. Oversee inventory rotation within the warehouse.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, team-building, and delegation skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective interdepartmental relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Availability for extended hours during peak seasons.
Working Conditions

Frequent exposure to warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise levels are moderate to loud.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Ability to exert 30-60 pounds occasionally and 20-30 pounds frequently; capable of standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and other physical activities required for warehouse work.

Store and Pickup Hours

Store: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM; Sat 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Sun 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Pickup: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Sat 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Sun 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
