Job Summary Xchange Logistics Corporation is a freight forwarding company that manages air and ocean shipments, customs clearance and delivery, and warehouse logistics.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse supervisor’s primary responsibilities are to support the Warehouse Manager in coordinating and executing daily warehouse operations, ensuring strict compliance with regulations.
Our warehouse is a Container Freight Station (CFS) / bonded facility located in Compton, California.
Responsibilities
Support the Warehouse Manager in coordinating and executing daily warehouse operations
Manage and schedule forklift drivers and warehouse team members to ensure efficient task allocation
Collaborate with warehouse manager to meet operational goals and KPIs.
Supervise inbound and outbound processes including receiving, picking, staging, and shipping.
Monitor floor activities to ensure safe product stacking, clean environment, and compliance with safety policies.
Enforce TSA, OSHA, and internal company safety requirements (e.g., badges, seatbelts, escort policies).
Identify workflow issues and recommend operational improvements.
Address on-site employee concerns, provide real-time guidance and resolve task-related challenges.
Escalate incidents or operational concerns to the Warehouse Manager as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma (required); degree in logistics/supply chain/customs compliance (preferred).
3+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Familiar with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock operations.
Ability to manage work schedules and lead daily floor assignments.
Strong knowledge of safety and compliance requirements (TSA, OSHA).
