Job description

Supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team and designated facility. Work with Operations leadership to ensure company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervise, train, provide performance feedback, and assign duties to direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
2. Manage operational procedures, including incoming and outgoing shipments, merchandise organization, and warehouse inventory management.
3. Plan production schedules and resource allocation to complete job assignments while maintaining records of time and production.
4. Track activities and send reports to designated plant personnel.
5. Monitor warehouse activities such as sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure product availability.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operate machinery and material handling equipment.
2. Resolve employee issues and maintain open communication across all organizational levels.
3. Perform assigned projects as instructed.
4. Have at least 2 years of warehouse or logistics leadership experience.
5. Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
6. Work in temperatures as low as -20°F / -25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F / 37°C in dry storage while wearing company-provided PPE and freezer gear.
7. Be able to lift at least 40 lbs.; heavier weights may be required depending on the facility.
8. Work a flexible schedule and shifts, including weekends if necessary.
9. Be comfortable with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.
