Job summary

The Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse staff and oversee daily operations, ensuring receipt, storage and on-time delivery of goods while maintaining safety and inventory controls.

You will train staff, monitor productivity, coordinate with other departments and customers, and help establish standards and procedures to meet KPI targets.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' leadership experience in inventory control, warehousing, customer service, material handling, or supply chain operations.
  • APICS certification preferred.
  • Basic understanding of ERP and warehousing processes.
  • Ability to plan daily activities with urgency and follow established procedures.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations, including receipt, documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies; maintain inventory.
  • Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of warehouse staff; assign workloads.

What you'll do:

SUMMARY: The WarehouseSupervisor position is a member of the leadership team and responsible forsupervising warehouse staff and daily activities. The role is responsible fortracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery ofgoods/materials, and train, assign warehouse associate staff and meetingKPI's.To be successful as a Warehouse Supervisor you should be experienced inoptimizing warehousing processes and be an effective team leader. Anoutstanding Warehouse Supervisor should be dependable and have excellentorganizational and time management skills.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan,organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operation andactivities, including thereceipt, documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies andmaintenance of inventory
  • Train,supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assignworkloads to warehouse team members
  • Managing,evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity.
  • Communicatingand coordinating with other departments and customers.
  • Receive,unpack, pack, load, issue, store and deliver materials, supplies or equipment.
  • Completepacking slips for shipments as assigned.
  • Route,schedule, pack and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and overseedeliveries and pick-ups
  • Prepare andmaintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintaininventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required
  • Observe healthand safety regulations, maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderlycondition
  • Assistmanagement in establishing warehouse standards and procedures; advise of budget-relatedneeds; assist in the bid process for various supplies as required
  • Perform otherduties as assigned
What you need to be successful:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 2years' experience in a leadership role in inventory control, warehousing,customer service, material handling, or supply chain operations
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Basic understanding of ERP and warehousing processes
  • Ability to plan daily activities but react with a high sense of urgency
  • Able to create and follow established procedures
  • Ability and proficiencies to operate warehouse equipment
  • Strong organization and time management skills necessary to manage competingdemands
  • Practicalknowledge of Lean principles
  • Commitment toproviding excellent customer support
  • Positiveattitude
  • Provenability to plan and handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Creative andinnovative team player
  • Intermediatecomputer skills are required
  • Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite
