Job summary

Champro Sports is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Bannockburn, IL to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast paced distribution center.

You will lead the team, drive safety and efficiency, manage inventory levels and on-time shipping, and partner with the Operations Manager to deliver world-class customer service.

Champro values teamwork and data driven continuous improvement; you will mentor staff, monitor KPIs, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize processes across shifts.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• GED or higher; Bachelor's preferred.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Understanding of shipping logistics preferred.
• Previous experience in a distribution facility preferred.
• Prioritization and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Must be able to interact with Champro customers and teammates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and data entry software.
• Previous SAP/ WMS/ RF or related experience is preferred.
• Must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment.
• Previous experience in performance management.
• Flexibility to cover any shifts as needed.
• LEAN Warehousing experienced a plus.
• Power Equipment experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises warehouse team members and daily activities

• Manages, evaluates and reports on warehouse productivity
• Tracks and coordinates the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
• Drives Safety culture through facilitating safety meetings and assuring the maintenance of a safe work environment
• Orders supplies and maintains suitable inventory levels
• Communicates and coordinates with both internal and external customers
• Creates shifts turnover reports to communicate to extended leadership team
• Hires, trains and monitors employee performance against company KPI’s
• Prepares and reconciles required production and inventory reports
• Cross-trains employees in all warehouse operations
• Provides project assistance to Operations Manager or Director as required
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws, as well as occupational health and safety regulations
• Undertake other duties as assigned
• Proactively manages advanced replens, direct moves and letdowns daily.

We are privately owned and have been delivering high-value, traditional & innovative athletic equipment and apparel via outstanding, integrity-driven customer service for fourty years. We currently have an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor in our 200,000 square foot distribution center, located in Bannockburn, Illinois, working M-F 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM.

Position:

The position supervises the daily activities of the warehouse team during a given shift. Must be able to influence the team to provide world class customer service in a fast-paced environment while not compromising safety. The supervisor provides leadership, motivation, training, and development to the team while driving continuous improvement, safety adherence and optimization of operations efficiently through data.
