Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a motivated Stacker to support our Distribution Center operations. You will perform put-away, replenishment, transfers, and consolidations using a reach truck and RF scanner, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

You will help with order picking, pallet consolidation, and space optimization while following SOPs and training programs. A reliable team player with attention to detail will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1+ years warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to learn RF scanner usage and operate stacker and reach truck safely.
• Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal/communication skills.
• Complete Powered Equipment Training, Stacking Area Training, and Proficiency Test.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment and obtain any required license.
• Meet productivity, quality, safety, housekeeping, and attendance standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform put-away, replenishment, transfers, consolidations, and order picking.
• Scan pallets to locations and drop zones.
• Review daily audit trails and optimize space by consolidating pallets.
• Locate and retrieve merchandise from warehouse racking; assist with picking when needed.
• Operate and inspect equipment; coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to SOPs and state/federal requirements; maintain clean work area.
• Support special projects and high-priority assignments as required.
