Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Stacker for the Distribution Center in Rhode Island. The role centers on handling merchandise through put-away, replenishment, transfers, consolidations, and order picking using a reach truck and RF scanner.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in a warehouse setting, with the ability to operate powered equipment safely and meet productivity and safety targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Able to learn RF scanner operation and safely operate stacker/reach truck.
• Must meet productivity, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Complete relevant equipment training and testing.

Responsibilities

• Stacker equipment functions: put-away, replenishment, transfers, consolidations, and order picking.
• Scan pallets to locations and drop zones.
• Review daily audit trail and consolidate pallets to optimize space.
• Locate and remove merchandise from warehouse racking; perform order picking when needed.
• Operate equipment and coordinate with maintenance for issues.
• Follow SOPs and comply with state and federal requirements.
