Job summary

Staffmark Group in West Jefferson, OH is seeking Warehouse Specialists to join a growing team and support fast-paced distribution operations. You will receive, stock, pick, pack orders, and operate forklifts where required, using RF scanners to ensure accuracy.

Pay Rate: $20.50 - $23.25 per hour

Job Duties

• Receive, unload, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload trailers while following warehouse safety procedures.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment when assigned.
• Use RF scanners and voice-picking technology to complete inventory and order fulfillment tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and support overall distribution center

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
• Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred.
• Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment.
• Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse, distribution center, shipping, receiving, stocking, or order-picking experience preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners, voice-picking systems, or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Forklift experience required for designated forklift positions.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Specialists.

Physical Capabilities

• Physical requirements vary by assignment and will be discussed during the hiring process.
• Candidates should be able to safely perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to pounds regularly.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment and meet productivity standards.
• Steel-toe boots required.
