Job summary

Hy-Vee, d.b.a Lomar Distribution Center, seeks a Warehouse Generalist to efficiently pick items using voice-directed systems and light-guided pick tools. You will palletize orders, ensure pallet stability, and prep shipments to Hy-Vee stores.

The role requires safety-minded operation of forklifts and stock pickers in a busy distribution center. Responsibilities include daily safety checks, maintaining a clean workspace, and following standard procedures.

Qualifications

• Must meet voice-directed picking language/hearing requirements.
• Follow one- or two-step instructions; perform routine, repetitive tasks.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Select and palletize merchandise accurately for shipment to stores.
• Verify pallet stability and apply shrink-wrap, label pallets correctly.
• Operate power equipment safely and perform daily safety checks.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and participate in meetings.
• Assist with breakdown of master cases and other duties as assigned.
