Hy-Vee at the Lomar Distribution Center is seeking a Warehouse Generalist, Heavy Lifting to accurately select orders and palletize for shipment. The role requires operating voice-activated and pick-to-light systems, with safe handling of pallets and materials.

Qualifications include a High School diploma and the ability to meet language/hearing requirements for voice systems. The position is on-site with opportunities to work with power equipment after certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to meet language and hearing requirements for voice-activated selection.
• Must be able to operate pallet jacks and forklift safely after certification.

Responsibilities

• Reports for scheduled shift and maintains punctuality.
• Adheres to company policies and departmental guidelines.
• Selects orders via voice automated system and palletizes safely for shipment.
• Selects items via pick-to-light system when required.
• Ensures pallet stability and applies shrink wrap.
• Labels pallets with correct ID and stages orders for delivery.
• Performs daily safety checks on equipment and uses safety gear.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and participates in meetings.
• Breaks down master cases and stages product as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
