Job summary

Nwestco, LLC in Spokane, WA is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to receive, inspect, and organize petroleum construction materials and equipment. You will assist with shipping/receiving, track inventory, and help field crews with staging materials for sites.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, familiarity with construction materials, and basic Excel or SAP knowledge. Safety-minded individuals who can lift up to 75 lb and operate forklifts are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or tool room experience; construction, petroleum, or industrial sectors preferred.
• Familiarity with petroleum equipment, construction materials, or mechanical parts.
• Experience using inventory control systems (Excel, SAP, Fishbowl or similar).
• Forklift certification or demonstrated forklift/pallet jack operation.
• Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and support field teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of materials and equipment.
• Organize, label, and maintain warehouse inventory safely and accurately.
• Prepare and stage materials for field crews and job sites.
• Assist with shipping/receiving, packing orders, and documenting receiving data.
• Track inventory, report shortages, and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; keep tools and equipment organized.
