Job summary

Thistle Health Inc. seeks a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, inventory, shipping, and internal material movement in our NJ facility.

You will perform FIFO storage, pull materials for production, weigh and label items, document movements, and help maintain accuracy with QA and safety standards. Requires 2+ years of warehouse receiving experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and food-handling certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of warehouse receiving experience preferred in high-volume food production.
State-designated Food Handlers Certification required within 30 days of hire.
Ability to work in cold environments and perform physically demanding tasks (lift up to 50 lbs).
Familiarity with GMP manufacturing practices preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive, organize, and store materials; maintain up-to-date stock records.
Conduct weekly inventory and ensure FIFO rotation for perishables.
Pull and prepare materials for production; weigh, label, and package items for production.
Verify product quality on receipt; document waste and notify management of issues.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move and stage materials.
Collaborate with Procurement and QA to resolve supply chain issues and shortages.
