Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Chantilly, VA is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support order preparation, inventory control, and equipment movement. You will handle trucking logistics, stock and secure items, and operate tools and forklifts as needed in a physical warehouse environment.

The role requires safety awareness, ability to work in a team, and willingness to perform custodial duties and routine housekeeping. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL helpful but not required.
• Basic reading and mathematical calculations.
• Ability to safely use hand, power, and pneumatic tools; read tape measure.
• Ability to problem-solve, work independently, and be self-motivated.
• Knowledge of equipment operation, including manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Fuel diesel trucks arriving to the warehouse and log fuel dispensing.
• Move or reposition trucks upon return to the warehouse.
• Wash/clean and detail tractors, trailers, forklifts, and company vehicles.
• Secure the facility and log movement of personnel.
• Assist in constructing crates and storage containers using pneumatic tools.
• Maintain safety practices for self and others.
• Housekeeping duties including sweeping and restroom/break room cleaning.
• Move equipment with forklifts or pallet jacks for safety and organization.
• Verify incoming equipment for storage and log paperwork.
