Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Fredericksburg, VA. The role involves preparing orders, organizing storage, and recording inventory. You will move, stock, and secure items using hand and powered tools, with some locations performing custodial tasks.

Responsibilities include fueling diesel trucks, assembling crates, keeping logs, and ensuring safety and housekeeping standards in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL helpful but not required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good use of English; able to keep legible records/logs in English.
• Basic reading and mathematical calculations; multiplying, dividing, fractions or decimals.
• Ability to safely use hand, power, and pneumatic tools; read tape measure.
• Ability to problem-solve, work independently, and be self-motivated.
• Knowledge of equipment operation including manual transmissions and pneumatic/hydraulic tools.

Responsibilities

• Fuel diesel trucks arriving to the warehouse; log fuel dispensing.
• Move or re-position trucks as needed upon return.
• Wash/clean tractors, trailers, forklifts, and company vehicles.
• Secure the facility and log inbound/outbound movement of personnel.
• Assist in constructing crates and storage containers with pneumatic tools.
• Adhere to safety practices for self and others.
• Housekeeping duties including sweeping, trash, bathrooms and break room areas.
• Move machinery with forklifts, pallet jacks or other powered equipment.
• Verify incoming equipment for storage; offload and inspect for damage; log paperwork.
• Retrieve stored machinery for loading onto trailers or vehicles.
• Tie down and secure loads on trailers.
• Perform inventory/control functions; maintain tool inventory.
• Assist riggers and field personnel with equipment/tool needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
