Colonial Group in Weston, WV, is seeking an experienced warehouse specialist to independently manage all warehouse and inventory functions, ensuring accurate materials handling and maintaining adequate on-hand levels.

The role involves cycle counts, processing inventory issues/returns/adjustments, and coordinating with vendors to ensure material availability. You will mentor teammates and may travel to other warehouses within a 2-hour radius, about two days per week.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of warehouse experience is required.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain on-hand inventory and perform cycle counts and full inventory counts.
• Process inventory issues, returns, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with vendors on pricing and availability to ensure materials are available.
• Train and mentor other warehouse specialists and support multiple locations within 2 hours travel.

Job Summary

Independently performs all warehouse and inventory functions to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant material handling. Maintains adequate on-hand inventory levels, processes inventory issues, returns, and adjustments. Orders, receives, stocks, and transacts all materials entering and leaving the warehouse. Documents, prepares, sends and receives equipment for returns and repairs. Performs monthly cycle counts and full inventory counts, and reconciles inventory variances. Communicates with vendors for pricing and availability and ensure materials are available to support the business. Mentors and trains other warehouse specialists. This role will primarily support our warehouse in Weston. Travel to other warehouse locations within 2 hours may be required around 2 days per week.

Qualification Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.


• Experience Level: 3-5 years of warehouse experience is required.

Job Skills & Knowledge:

Skill Requirements:

• Basic Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).


• Demonstrated project lead skills.

Knowledge of:

• Oracle or other ERP or inventory/warehouse management software.

Certifications:

• Forklift Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Other Requirements:

• Travel Requirements: This position requires a valid driver's license for occasional day travel.


• Strength Level: This is heavy work.


• Climbing Requirements: This position requires climbing up to 10 feet via ladder.


• Tool-Using Requirements: This position is tool-using.
