Job summary

Colonial Group in West Virginia is seeking a seasoned warehouse lead to independently perform and lead all warehouse and inventory functions, ensuring accurate, efficient handling and compliance. You will maintain on-hand inventory, process issues, returns, and adjustments, and oversee receiving, stocking, and transactions of materials entering and leaving the warehouse.

The role includes monthly cycle counts and full counts, reconciliation of variances, and coordination with vendors for pricing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of warehouse experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all warehouse and inventory functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform monthly cycle counts and full inventory counts with variance reconciliation.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing and availability to keep materials ready.
• Mentor and train other warehouse specialists and act as site team lead.
• Travel to Weston and other sites within two hours up to two days per week.

Job Summary

Independently performs and leads all warehouse and inventory functions to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant material handling. Maintains adequate on-hand inventory levels, processes inventory issues, returns, and adjustments. Orders, receives, stocks, and transacts all materials entering and leaving the warehouse. Documents, prepares, sends and receives equipment for returns and repairs. Performs monthly cycle counts and full inventory counts, and reconciles inventory variances. Communicates with vendors for pricing and availability and ensure materials are available to support the business. Mentors and trains other warehouse specialists. Demonstrate leadership attributes/capabilities and acts as site team lead. This role will primarily support our warehouse in Weston. Travel to other warehouse locations within 2 hours may be required around 2 days per week.

Qualification Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience Level: 5-7 years of warehouse experience is required.

• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Certifications

• Forklift Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

• Travel Requirements: This position requires a valid driver’s license for regular daytime travel.
• Strength Level: This is heavy work.
• Climbing Requirements: This position requires climbing up to 10 feet via ladder.
• Tool-Using Requirements: This position is tool-using.
