Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation seeks a Warehouse Associate at the Fort Knox site in Kentucky. Under general supervision, you will receive, unpack, check, and store materials, operate lift equipment, and fulfill requisitions and orders to support mining operations.

You will maintain a clean, safe work environment following 5S standards, perform shipping and inventory control duties, and collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to meet performance targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years warehouse or inventory control experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of JDE or similar ERP system preferred.
• Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures.
• Candidate mining equipment knowledge is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, check, and store merchandise or materials.
• Operate lift equipment and forklift routinely.
• Process receiving, issuing, and shipping of parts and materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
• Meet or exceed performance expectations; work safely.
• Flexible shifts including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Report safety hazards and comply with policies.
