Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on materials management computer systems.
• Ability to supervise employees.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Knowledge of mining equipment and materials.
• Knowledge of inventory and warehouse functions.
• 4-6 years’ experience in Materials Management Systems (JD Edwards/Mincom/SAP) preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of mining operations and related maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure received material matches quantity and quality of purchase orders and is available quickly.
• Plan and organize warehouse layout and adjust as needed.
• Administer daily warehouse operations for efficiency.
• Store materials safely and securely.
• Ensure accurate and timely issuance or crediting of materials.
• Maintain and safeguard all warehouse stock.
• Oversee on-site inventory for two equipment maintenance contractors.
• Comply with safety, environmental, confidentiality and code of conduct policies.
• Meet or exceed management performance expectations.
• Exercise sound discretion and judgment in performance.
• Work safely with no risk or harm to self and others.
• Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
• Mentor other department personnel in listed duties.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
