Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must have warehousing experience.
• Ability to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Office suite of programs.
• Possesses valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue materials from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
• Process turn-ins for expired or unserviceable stock in storage.
• Collaborate with Supply Technician Lead and place received parts and equipment in proper location.
• Assist with editing of parts and input of parts request into GCSS-A.
• Keep records and compile stock reports.
• Ensure all supply requirements are processed accurately and timely.
• Mark stock items with identification tags or labeling equipment.
• Verify receipts against Materiel Receipt Documents for correct NSN, unit, quantity, and condition.
• Inspect stock items for wear or damage and report issues.
• Move materials and prepare for shipment.
• Purchase new stock or prepare documents for such purchases.
• Determine proper storage methods based on turnover and environment.
• Maintain records of inventories, prices, shortages, shipments, and usage.
• Distribute materials to customers or coworkers from requisitions.
• Advise on the appropriateness of requested parts or supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
