Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Warehouse Specialist – 2nd Shift at our Chula Vista, CA facility. You will receive parts, prepare inventory for shipment, and operate forklifts onsite as part of IAM Local 755. Shift is 2:30pm–11:00pm after training, Monday–Friday.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with warehouse experience, strong safety mindset, and computer proficiency. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits and union environment.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts that have been stored in a warehouse stored as inventory
• Cycle counting of inventory
• Opening of supplier product to be stored in a warehouse
• Box and prep customer orders for shipment
• Process, store, and send inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules
• Load and unload orders from various carriers and freight forwarders
• Organize incoming deliveries
• Apply the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels
• Operate licensed lift trucks of any capacity
• Maintain good shop practices including safety and housekeeping
• This position stands for long periods of time
• You will be carrying loads up to 30 pounds

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Warehouse Specialist – 2nd Shift for the Aftermarket team. In this position you will be responsible for receiving of parts and preparing inventory for shipment to the client. This position requires you to be always organized and safety conscious.

This position is based on-site at our Chula Vista, CA facility and will be part of the IAM Local 755

This is a 2nd shift position required to work Monday - Friday (2:30pm - 11pm)after training concludes.

• Typically HS diploma, GED with 4 years of relevant experience, is required
• Prior experience working in a warehouse
• Experience with safety practices and procedures

The pay range for this role is 22.95 - $50.98; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
