Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Material Handler to perform inventory control and receiving in SAP at our Foley, AL site. The role is onsite, 6:30AM–3:00PM with overtime as needed, requiring lifting up to 40 lbs and outdoor work in elements.

You will count, verify, receive, post goods movements in SAP, manage non-conforming material, conductor 5S, use Excel, and support Lean improvements in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree with 4+ years of related experience.
• Ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs; stand for 8 hours outdoors when needed.

Responsibilities

• Count and verify parts against supplier packing slips; review for damage.
• Receive inbound material in SAP; note discrepancies.
• Manage non-conforming material via grief line; coordinate with supply chain.
• Storage/warehousing of material using powered industrial vehicles.
• Perform SAP transactions for goods movements.
• Maintain awareness of production rates and part requirements.
• Use powered hand tools to open crates and verify/load materials.
• Manage FTZ material via SAP & Excel.
• Research in ERP systems to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Use lean manufacturing tools to improve processes.
• Engage in 5S activities and maintain a FOD-free inventory environment.
• Use MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook/Teams).
• Perform other duties as required.

Collins Aerospace is seeking hire a Material Handler to perform a variety of manual and administrative tasks associated with inventory control and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures. You will receive, verify and post inventory into the SAP system.

Position is Onsite: Shift schedule is Monday – Friday from 6:30AM – 3:00PM with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Working Environment: Work is performed in a receiving warehouse and outside dock requiring the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs, stand in position at times up to a minimum of 8 hours per day and working outdoors in the elements as needed.

What You Will Do

• Count and verify parts against supplier packing slips and review for damage.
• Receive inbound material in SAP and note any discrepancies.
• Manage non-conforming material via grief line and coordinate with supply chain to resolve.
• Storage/warehousing of material using powered industrial vehicles.
• Perform SAP transactions for goods movements.

Qualifications/Experience Needed

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with Inventory Management
• Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Vehicle certification.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
