Warehouse Specialist (Inventory) Full Time
About The Position

All Star is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as Warehouse Specialist. The role involves accurately pulling orders for shipment, verifying and entering receipt of incoming shipments, maintaining precise records of materials received, inspecting shipments, and reconciling packing slips. Ensuring materials are delivered to the correct departments and stored properly is essential. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Obtain products from inventory to fill orders, verifying information and quantities carefully.
  • Prepare containers for shipment, packing items appropriately.
  • Enter shipments into the computer system to generate shipping tickets.
  • Receive and unload incoming materials, comparing quantities to packing slips.
  • Inspect for damage, document discrepancies, and report damaged goods.
  • Record received goods into the inventory system.
  • Maintain punctual attendance.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Label, pack, and load items for shipment as per specifications.
  • Move pallets using assistance of a pallet jack for receiving or shipping.
  • Perform overhead reaching and twisting to handle products on shelves.
  • Climb a 25’ ladder repeatedly to handle boxes weighing up to 20 lbs.
  • Keep the work area clean and follow safety regulations.
  • Participate in inventory counts and daily meetings as required.
Skills And Experience
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures preferred but trainable.
  • Ability to input data and generate reports in a computer system.
  • Familiarity with FedEx and UPS is preferred.
  • Helpful and flexible disposition.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to focus for long periods while standing.
  • Physical ability to access all facility areas and perform activities like walking, bending, and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand/walk up to 8-10 hours.
  • Lift/move totes up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching activities.
  • Work in variable noise, lighting, and temperature conditions.
